Maureen's 'Walking in the rain' is truly distinctive, evoking fond memories of the calm and tranquil scenes of monsoon from childhood. Words cannot adequately express the feelings and passion that are embodied in all her work. Rock on Maureen!

Maureen, it has been my/our pleasure meeting you and Steve and experiencing what giving, wonderful people you both are. When we first learned of your artistic talents, never did we dream that your art would have such a prominent place not only in the City of Downey’s History, but also in the City and County of Roscommon, Ireland. Bob and I were honored to be part of the delegation in the twinning of the two cities, and the two portraits that you painted of John Gately Downey, which now hang prominently in the Cities of Downey and Roscommon, Ireland are outstanding. Not only did your paintings bring more emphasis to his historical background in starting the City of Downey, but took him back to his home in Ireland to be admired for his endeavors by many.It has truly been my/our pleasure to experience your beautiful art and to continue enjoying your portraits that have followed for the Downey Historical Rives Mansion, and the Church of the Resurrection. Truly beautiful! Congratulations, Alda Sichting, Past President Downey Sister Cities / Past Commissioner for Cities of Downey and Bell Gardens , CA

Stan & Doris Maureen your art work not only bespeaks your talent and skill as a gifted artist but, also your personable and persistent laborious efforts. To know you as I know you is very special. I know you are also the apple of your husbands eye. Not only are you the apple of his eye, you are also 'My Dear Heart.' When I peruse your paintings it's personifying. It soothes and allays the passions, while engendering thought and knowledge. Your work is impeccable. Your art work and friendship is a compliment of your Creator. Shalom & Agape

Maureen is that rare artist who is gifted on many levels: clear representation of topic, exceptional colorization, and honest multi-dimensional insight into the soul of her subjects. Her works are memorable, and stay with the patron long after viewing. KUDOS.

Maureen is so versatile and talented - I wish that I had even a fraction of her ability to take paint and breathe so much life into her canvas! Her works come alive, her subjects are diverse and her communication comes through loud and clear! Pure magic!

Your art is so wonderful. Clearly the inspiration passes through your heart before the brush touches the canvas. I am also touched by the range and depth of your subject matter. Please don't ever stop producing, I want to continue to be amazed every time I visit your website.

Thank you for the beautiful work you do. I have 3 of your pictures in my home. Right now I am looking at the fountain with the little dog looking up at the water running over the edge. A soothing picture that makes me smile. Your picture of Jesus that you painted for the Catholic church is so beautiful. Donna Courville is my daughter.

My wife is a lover of cats and birds. Both kinds of creatures play prominent roles in Maureen Gaffney’s beautiful pictures of Humphrey the San Diego feline, and the Autumn Bench, which adorn the walls of our Virginia home. Maureen is a one-of-a-kind artist with amazing talent, through use of color, texture, and selection of theme. The rich and vivid portraits that she creates must be seen to be fully appreciated. It would be hard to walk away from her gallery without selecting something to take with you! All the best, Maureen!!
